Classes & Workshops

ATTENTION: "AFFORDABLE SUMMER ART CLASSES NOW FORMING”

Wonderful, engaging and encouraging "Mostly Watercolor" classes are forming in Sebastopol for the summer and maybe beyond.

It will be taught by award-winning wine country artist and SRJC Instructor,Adriane Hatkoff. Please see her website: www.adrianedesigns.com ~

For sure there will be 10 - 3hr. classes held on Tues.1-4pm starting June 14 held at Fircrest Mobile Home Park Club House...a large, light & clean space conveniently located in Sebastopol.

We are also gathering folks names and phone numbers to see how many people are interested in Saturday afternoon classes, 2-3 hours in length also to be taught by Adriane and held at the SASC.

Through informative lectures and stimulating exercises, along with optional critiques and supportive personal attention throughout we will be studying~

This class nourishes self-expression by using many exciting and unique techniques, emphasizing composition and color harmonies. Through an encouraging and engaging environment, develop your skills while exploring this passionate medium. Class begins with varied exercises, handouts and/or demonstrations. Individual attention throughout. Basic drawing skills helpful.

Watercolor: The Basics (& Beyond)

This class is for the less advanced watercolorists. It is designed to teach some basic skills and techniques while exploring and engaging the soul and senses. We will have fun using washes & glazes to express values, depth, shadows, highlights along with exciting texture techniques, color mixing & theories.

Instructor for both classes: Adriane Hatkoff: Award-winning watercolorist and lifelong artist, Adriane Hatkoff, previously a New York City children’s book illustrator and textile designer teaches and lives in Sonoma County.
